Amberjack Candle Company started with a goal to make a different kind of home fragrance. We wanted to create high quality products with an affordable price tag. Our amber jar range debuted in a small Paeroa shop in 2016.
As we grew so did our need for a much larger space to work from. We were lucky enough to secure our current factory, an old space in Paeroa that had stood empty for years. We love our old factory, still in it’s original condition and even complete with leaky concrete walls – it fits perfectly with the Amberjack aesthetic. Over time our packaging, fragrances and brand has been refined – but our core values are the same, home fragrance is for everyone.
SIMPLE AESTHETICS + HIGH QUALITY INGREDIENTS
Amberjack candles are made from Soy Wax and custom made paraben/phthalate-free fragrance oils. We use simple, no-fuss packaging and all labelling is designed and printed in-house.

Our old Paeroa factory – once home to the printing press for the local newspaper, with the old Gantry still in the ceiling. Out front we have a small factory shop with a full range of products for your perusal.
