Did you know that only 4% of New Zealanders donate blood, but 3,500 blood donations are required each and every week to meet hospital demands, so the Club Mount Maunganui have decided to help the New Zealand Blood Service, by hosting a blood drive at the club.
If you are a first-time donor – no sweat! The process is quick and easy and takes 30-40 minutes max from the moment you walk in the door until you leave! The blood donation itself takes no more then 5-10 minutes and once it is done you get to enjoy some nice goodies in the refreshment area and admire the view.
Get a group of friends together to donate and then have lunch, or rally your work team or office to book and donate together (did you know each donation can save up to 3 lives!).
